Database write amplification

Database byte write amplification is storage-engine output bytes written divided by logical input bytes over a stated interval and accounting boundary.

Specify whether input counts keys, values or both, and whether output includes WAL, compaction and value-store cleaning. This ratio is distinct from host-to-NAND write amplification. [wisckey]
