NVMe DULBE

NVMe DULBE is the Error Recovery feature bit that enables a namespace's deallocated or unwritten logical-block error.

It is bit 16 of Error Recovery, feature 05h. Namespace support is reported separately by NSFEAT bit 2. Support does not establish enablement; an absent current-setting capture leaves policy unknown. [1]

Limitations

  • An error-policy setting does not report which LBAs are allocated and is not a sanitization result. [1]
