NVMe Percentage Used is a vendor-specific estimate of the percentage of NVM endurance consumed by actual use.
At 100, the estimated endurance has been consumed, but failure is not implied. Values may exceed 100; values above 254 are encoded as 255. The controller updates the estimate once per power-on hour outside sleep. This entry describes byte 5 of SMART / Health Information log 02h, not similarly named fields with a different scope. [2]
