SMART normalized value

A SMART normalized value is an ATA drive firmware's vendor-specific score for an attribute, interpreted against that attribute's threshold.

It is not a fleet percentile or a universal percentage of remaining health. smartctl reports the score and threshold supplied by the drive; it does not calculate the firmware's conversion.
