The Exos 2X18 SATA manual identifies the Concurrent Positioning Ranges log at address 47h and maps each half of its LBA space to an actuator. ATA logical-block counts must use the device's current logical-block size; Linux independent_access_ranges instead reports normalized 512-byte sectors. Do not substitute one unit for the other.
