NVMe/FC
NVMe/FC is the transport binding that carries NVMe capsules and data over Fibre Channel.
Protocol distinction: The binding maps NVMe capsules to Fibre Channel frames and is specified by INCITS T11. It is distinct from both NVMe/RDMA and NVMe/TCP [1].
Compatibility: A Fibre Channel connection alone does not establish NVMe support. The host, target and drivers need the appropriate protocol capability; a documented target implementation requires a separate FC low-level driver [2].
