hesela.devWARC payload digest
A WARC payload digest records a hash algorithm and digest for content that a record contains or refers to.
For application/http, the payload is the entity body. A revisit may name its digest without retaining that body locally; a segmented record may describe the logical payload spanning segments. [1]
In warcio 1.8.2, revisit records bypass both digest checks, and segmented records bypass payload checking. A stored digest and a verified comparison are different evidence. [2]
