SCSI sense key
A SCSI sense key is a four-bit field identifying the broad category of a condition reported in sense data.
Interpret the category with the ASC/ASCQ pair and command context; the key alone is not a physical root-cause diagnosis. [1] Field locations differ between fixed and descriptor formats, so decode the response code before reading the key. [2]
